First Dress Shopping appt today!!

So i have my first dress shopping appt today at 1:00p. I already know to have a strapless bra handy and not to wear bright/colorful/dark undies. What are some other good tips that i should keep in mind when shopping?

I'd suggest bringing as few people as possible.  Too many opinions can get confusing.  Also, bring a camera just in case you can take pictures.  Since many shops prohibit photos, make sure you bring a notebook so you can write your thoughts about each dress you really like.  You might want to bring a pair of heels, since most of the sample dresses are long, but generally the shop will give you shoes to wear in that case. And don't make any decisions today!  Make sure you give yourself at least 24 hours to decide.   Most Importantly: HAVE FUN!!!!!

I'm actually not bringing anyone with me at all to this one. i have a general idea of what i want, so the purpose for this appt is for me to figure out exactly what i want. Alot of people were like "what?" when i told them i was going alone.

Good luck and have fun!! take lots of pics. I went about 2 weeks ago with mom and a dress I hadn't even plan on looking @ I tried it on {with veil } wasen't planning  on wearing one.. and I cried. So keep an open mind and enjoy.   9/18/2010!
