PIP bridesmaid dress and wedding dress match-up

What do you think of this bridesmaids dress with this wedding dress. I just really like the idea of the bridesmaid's dress being loose and flowy. Additionally I have girls of ALL shapes and sizes. Do you think this one will work. My main color is Plum or deep eggplant. It won't let me change the sash color but I might do a lilac or something in ivory or I might do all one color. (this color is called berry on the site but I know its impossible to tell what anything looks like until you see it in person)( I hate how the model looks in this dress)

• Since the girls are all different sizes & shapes, have you considered telling them what color & designer to go with, then let them pick their dress? I absolutely love that idea and think it looks great in pics. Here are a few examples. LOVE your wedding dress, btw! • Thanks for the suggestions. I am considering letting them pick which dress they want if we go with a different designer. However if we go with this designer it would have to be this particular dress so I was wondering what you expert dress ladies thought and if they went together. The dress has to be long at the request of the girls. If we go with a different designer it will be something in the Watters line. There are a few we all like but they all fall under the more "bridesmaid satin look". This was just a different option and the only one I liked in this particular flowy fabric.
• PS Thank you! My dress is PoB Kyle from the Vineyard ?collection! I'm wearing a cathedral veil with it and I love the veil with the dress!
• Personally, I'm not nuts about how that dress looks with your dress....but it could be the sash color that's throwing me off.

• One of my BM's is wearing this dress...it's so flattering on her! I think it will look great!
• I'm not crazy about that BM dress with your dress either. I think it looks a little less formal IMO.

• I however like all of those Watters dresses you posted. My girls are wearing Watters. :o)

• It's the light colored sash that is really throwing me off. I think it cuts the person in half. I like the Watters gowns better myself.
• I'm not crazy about how the posted BM dresses goes with your dress either. I like the idea of allowing your girls to choose coordinating styles of dresses. I DO love all of those Watters dresses you posted. One of my MOHs wore the last one and had it shortened to the knee. She looked great! My 3 girls each wore different Watters dresses and they looked amazing, IMO.

• I think it's a gorgeous dress in a gorgeous color and I like that it isn't that overly formal or 'bridesmaid satin' (which, let's be honest, nobody ever wears again AND is overpriced). I like the sash. My own wedding dress is a rough light-colored Indian silk with a black embroidered Chinese silk waist, so I love the stark complementary-colors-ness of it, and a well-defined waist can be slimming if done right. However, if your girls are all shapes and sizes, have you considered that the more well-endowed or full-figured ones (I assume if they are 'all shapes and sizes' you've got at least one of the above) might be unhappy with a strapless dress? Being a large-shouldered girl, I would be dismayed if asked to wear anything strapless. Your girls might feel the same way.
• And FWIW I really hate (like, would never wear or ask anyone else to wear) the Watters dresses, except for #3 which is gorgeous. That kind of satin brings out body flaws like nobody's business, and they look like typical bridesmaid dresses, so can't be worn again to a formal event. Except, as I said, #3. That's a nice one. But it's not my opinion that counts - it's your bridesmaids'!
• Thanks ladies! I did check with all my busty bridesmaids and they are all fine with strapless. I've seen them all wear strapless in their own wedding gowns or in other gowns of their own choosing they have purchased.
• If they're OK with strapless, then go for it! (Whatever "it" ends up being)
