Dress Anxiety

Seeing all the post for new never worn dresses I know I'm not alone. I've had a sense of ugh since we put the deposit down on the dress. Don't get me wrong it's a lovely dress and I look great in it, but I keep feeling like maybe I should have searched harder and longer and gone to NYC. Sigh. The dress has come in super early (projected to arrive late November arrived a week ago) which deepens my feeling I should have searched longer! I go and try it on in a couple of weeks and I'm petrified I will hate it! I'm sure it's just anxiety I mean you only get one wedding dress (sometimes 2 or 3) so you want it to be just perfect. I mean a DVD of pictures is forever! I shall breathe now and attempt to stop having dress nightmares!

Many girls go through this. Don't look at anymore dresses. Go try on your dress and have someone take pictures of you in it. I'm sure you'll fall in love with it again.

First of all, let me say that dress is stunning!  I had similar feelings about my dress, and it took 10 months to come in. I think all brides go through this, dont worry! The thing with my dress was, I started to get unsure, but never really found one I liked more . The girls always say her, " there is a reason you picked it in the first place", and that is so true!Try not to over think it!

I've battled the dress "buyer's remorse" too but every person who has seen my dress thinks it fantastic. The bottom line is we are bombarded by so many choices, it makes us doubt the original choice we made. I do wish I had looked around a little more, but my dress is gorgeous, I'm going to look great it AND you will look great in yours too!

I had one of those moments too.  What I did is went back to the bridal shop and tried it on again and it took away my fears/doubts.

I've heard a lot of ladies say they went through this but when the dress came in they fell in love all over again. I'm sure you'll love it when you put it on, especially since it'll be YOURS and in your size and the color you wanted and everything. Don't second guess yourself! That dress is gorgeous!

That dress is very pretty! I think you'll be fine. Sometimes I have second thoughts about my dress too. I put it on last night, in fact, just to make myself feel better, lol. I have the same dress you are wearing in your siggy pic!!! White House Black Market!!!!
