Ordering from a website?

Has anyone ordered their dress from a website? I found the dress that I want online, but if it's too good to be true, most likely it is...Has anyone used www.bestdressprices.com? I'm not worried about alterations, etc as I've already tried the dress on...it's just out of my price range in the store...

  • Hey, let me know if you find anything legit about the site!  Thanks,Caroline

  • So far I've seen mixed reviews. The dresses are obviously replicas...but I don't have a need for a designer label, I just want the look. I've read that people were thrilled with the results and that others were upset with the material quality.
  • Try pearlsplace.com, netbride.com and rkbridal.com.If you just want the style and don't care about the label, I would instead look for a similar dress from a less expensive designer. Maybe Impressions or Alfred Angelo or David's Bridal. Can you post the pic of your dream dress? Maybe someone can suggest a copycat model. Or bring a pic to a local seamstress (ask your local board for recommendations) and find out how much it'd be to have one made for you. You would be supporting a local independent business instead of having a Chinese knockoff.

  • Good suggestions. I'm not a big risk taker, so I think I'll play it safe and order a dress that already exists ;) I am actually looking for similar styles right now...I don't think it's going to happen though. I've moved on to dress choice #2, which I will be perfectly happy with...
  • Also, Jay's Bridal. I purchased my dress online from them. They have an actual store in Gainesville, FL and they are really easy to get in contact with. I highly recommend them.

  • Try Pearl's Place.  I ordered my dress from them, and it's been a great experience.  I also got it for more than 50% off of what the bridal salon quoted me.  I'll definitely be getting my BM dresses there too.  Pearl's Place only does quotes over the phone, so don't bother emailing them.  I also considered Netbride, but the shipping was a lot more and the price was a tiny bit more too.  I've been to RKBridal, and had a horrible experience in their store, so I wouldn't personally order from them, but they are a reputable company.

  • Definately try Pearlsplace.com they are the very best and I agree with the PP below.
  • I got mine from Victoriasbridal.com, they have a real store in Florida as well but have a great online discount price that is similar to RK bridal's pricing.
