Bought my dress but not sure if it's "the one"...

Hi everyone, I had been searching for awhile looking for the perfect dress at the perfect price...I couldn't find it. So I went shopping again yesterday and spontaneously bought a beautiful dress that was on sale for $100! But now I'm not sure if it's what I really want...yes, it's pretty but maybe not exactly what I wanted...I don't know what to do...

  • Pics of it (preferably with you in it)?

  • For only $100, I'd say it's no big loss if you don't wind up wearing that one. I would hang onto it for now, but so to some more salons and try some more things on. You could also try on the $100 dress on a great hair day with a veil and some nice shoes and accessories, and see if seeing yourself in the "whole package" makes a difference in how you feel.

  • I agree with pp.  How can you beat $100?  If for some reason, you end up finding another dress that you think is "the one," there's no real harm done.  I could imagine someone buying that one from you for $200, and you could even make a profit. And yes, which dress is it?  Do you have pics?

  • You could also take pictures of elements you love to a good seamstress--with a few adjustments to the dress (neckline, skirt shape, add flowers or trim) you would turn your 100 dress into a one of a kind masterpiece.
  • What were you thinking when you tried it on?  A) I love this dress or B) I love the price? If it is A - you are probably just second-guessing yourselfIf it is B - agree with the other knottie, keep the dress for now but look around a bit more
  • I had buyers remorse up until the wedding. i was always wondering if i could have picked something better. I wore it at the wedding and loved it. You decide how you feel on your wedding day...the dress doesn't.
