We're having a budgeted weddings, and some dresses are really expensive. I found a local place that would allow me to rent a dress, slip, veil, head piece, shoes and jewelery for $299 at the most. The cheapest dress I've tried on was $399 (which I didn't like the dress). Plus I'll need alterations because I'm short.I want to own my own dress, because I want it be just mine, I don't like the idea of the dress I wear on our wedding to have been the dress in 10 other weddings. However, saving money is important, and all that really matters in the end is that we say I do. So I'm really torn on what I should do.Thoughts ladies?
