Where are the sleeves?

I've scanned the web, visited two shops and the fabric store.  Where the heck are the dresses with sleeves?  Attention wedding industry.  Some people get married in the winter. Heavy girls don't look good in strapless dresses. Skinney girls don't look their best when their boney shoulders are showing.  Bring back the sleeves!

The sleeves have clearly gone missing! I know what you mean about everything you've said.  Try a gorgeous bridal bolero jacket (often in beautiful lace, sometimes adorned with beads or crystal; mine is in the same satin as the bottom of my gown-both Maggie Sottero but bolero is from another one of her dresses).  Google bridal boleros or bridal shrugs and wraps.  The selection ISN'T as great as I thought it'd be, but it's something and the prices/quality vary a lot so see what you like.  I'd check with the store where you bought your gown to see what they have first and/or to see if they can custom make u one.  Good luck.  I just ordered my dress/jacket yesterday and of course i'm having second thoughts about everything but the groom!!

Try googling 'modest wedding gowns', or check out [url]www.latterdaybride.com[/url]. These dresses have so many sleeve options, and are well priced. An easy alteration could be to lower the neckline on many of them.I am a size 0 and I know I want sleeves or straps for sure!

Justin Alexander and Justin Alexander Couture make some dresses with sleeves or matching bolero jackets. Sophia Tolli also has some. (My dress is a stunning Justin Alexander Couture!)

Thanks for the later day link. They seem to have a thing for square neck lines and capped sleeves but much more workable/alterable than these strapless things.

Many dresses have sleeves, Jim Hjelm, all of his lines, PoB, Pronovias, Justin Alexander. Designers are also making jackets, you may want to check those out.
