Maggie Sottero - Sabelle and Mariah styles

Ladies, Has anybody tried on the Sabelle or the Mariah by Maggie Sottero? Are they heavy? I'm just a tiny bit over 5'1", and when I tried on the Sabelle I couldn't even walk, it was so heavy.  It was breathtaking, but the skirt was MASSIVE around me and overpowered my frame.  I'm sure part of the heaviness was that it was a normal length [typically made for 5'8"], so I had 7 inches of skirt to carry around, but it was just way too big for me.

I haven't tried these specific dresses on, but I have tried on MS Summer Royale- it was pretty heavy... I'm a tall girl- 5'7"-  and it was a bit much for me. Not unbearable, mind you, but I'm getting married outdoors and just couldn't imagine lugging an extra 10 pounds of dress around with me.BUT I'm.. uh, willowy? So a different build might carry the same dress different, and it may not be so heavy/overpoweringGL!
