A girl posted a pic of herself in the dress alongside her review.

  • I tried that David's Bridal dress on yesterday. I found, being short, that the shash cut my toroso and made me look too chubby. The sash is removable, but the dress is far too plain without it. I almost bought this dress, but the material is very poor quality and cheap. I had the feeling it would unravel or snag easily. It is a beautiful design though. Good luck!
  • I didn't try it on, but it look beautiful on the maniquen, which was right in front of my dressing room and kept catching my eye!

  • i saw someone try it on today and she bought it. it looked really awesome on her. i obviously have no pictures of someone else wearing it lol. are you near a david's bridal? you should just go try it on. it's a beautiful dress, and i don't think it looked cheap at all like PP said.
  • Thanks everyone! I do plan on going to try it on sometime soon, but I really want to go dress shopping with my mom so I wanted to wait until there was a weekend we could get together and go. (I live about an hour and a half away from my parents). So hopefully, it will be this month or the beginning of next!I'll post pictures once I try on. :)
  • I don't have any pictures, but did try on this dress a month or two back.  It looked much better on than it does in the website photo, and is especially nice for showing off a nice back.  There were only two issues I found - first, the bust had an odd fit, although the consultant admitted the dress I tried on seemed to be damaged. Second, the heavily beaded part of the sash covers the front part of your waist, and I much preferred the look of using a plain white sash over the beaded part (which I mimicked by holding the plain end of the sash over my waist).  The beaded part looked to me as if it belonged on another style of dress.
  • I much preferred the look of using a plain white sash over the beaded partgad7:Is the beaded sash removable? Because I had that same thought. I would much rather a plain sash that is closer to the dress color than the beaded one that sort of looks out of place.
  • I actually bought this dress! I have pictures of it i will figure out how to put them on my profile so you can see!!
