The shape is very pretty on you.  Personally I don't like the neckline but it's just not my style.  It looks good on you.

I think it looks good on you!  My only question is, is it going to stay that high under your arms?  It is lower on the model.

OK, I'll be honest -- I REALLY love the dress and it fits you beautifully... but I'm not 100% the top is flattering you. You have a great shape, but I feel this makes you look a little more flat-chested. It could be the fit, though, and it would look better when tailored to you.

I was wondering the same thing about how high it will lay under my arms.  When I tried on the dress, I hadn't seen it on the model/website.  I looked it up after I got home.  As far as the top making my chest look flat, well I almost like that since my chest is larger on top (enhanced ;-) ) and some of the dresses I've tried on make my chest look like they are popping off my chest...Lol. I'm still going to keep looking a little longer.  One of my local shops are having a Maggie trunk show in November so I may wait until then to make my decision. Thanks for all the great comments/opinions!

i love this dress and i think it looks very glam on you- i think the neckline is unique and overall it just is very stunning! it is sexy without being vulgar. i can imagine this with a birdcage veil and some art deco accessories...the armhole definitely sits too high - but a tailor should be able to cut away the shape better and make it look a little more open at the chest (i wouldn't go as drastic as the photo of the model). i'm guessing it's sitting where it is on you b/c you are much shorter than the professional model.this alteration would probably run you $75 if you take it to a seamstress who works out of their home (not at the bridal shop).GL with your shopping! i for one think you've found "the one"!! :-)

It's a very unique dress and you def have the figure to pull it off.  I don't agree with pp about it making you look flat chested.  IMHO I think a larger chested girl would be spilling out of it and would look ridiculous in it.  It's a dress made for girls with exactly your type of figure!

**Ksokoloski** You are correct, it is Catan's.  They are asking $648 for the dress which I thought was pretty reasonable..but I do agree about the mark up's.  I tried asking Anything Bridal in Broadview Heights and they don't order from the Allure Exclusive line, only Allure bridals (which I think is dumb) and I also called Dora's bridal in Fairview park since I know they carry Allure.  They don't "carry" that particular style in their store so they won't order it... I could try Galleria Gowns in Willoughby hills or Annabelle Bridal in Solon since they both carry Allure.  Where did you end up ordering yours from?
