Help finding a dress similar to Martina Liana 260

Hi Ladies,I have been lurking here for about a month just reading everyone's posts and looking at all of the fabulous dresses you will be wearing for your weddings! I was wondering if y'all could help me find a dress that is very similar to Martina Liana's style 260. I don't really want/need a convertable dress and I would like something a little less expensive than that dress.I absolutely love the lace, beading and sweetheart neckline of the top, as well as the waistline and skirt. Any ideas you could give me would be very helpful! Thanks,Tracie

  • That dress is GORGEOUS! Let us know how much it is so we can help find you a more inexpensive version!
  • here is the pic I found of it.
  • I've heard it is between $1500 and $3000 depending on the materials and beading work that you choose. My budget is $1500 including alterations. Thanks for all the help!

  • I'm on the hunt for that dress! NO ONE in my area in North Jersey has it. Has anyone tried this on?
  • I recently tried it on in the Houston-area. I was so excited that it was not as expensive as I expected (around $1,800 I think). But, it was not the right dress for me. It actually seemed to make me look bigger and the top was not nearly as pretty in person and did not photo well. The short dress, minus the puffy skirt, was super cute.
  • I fell in love with this dress but when I went to try it on I was majorly disapointed. I live in PA and the closest place that carried it was near Philly... it was $2,700 not including the bolero jacket. I also didn't need it to be convertable and didn't like the price. I found some that look somewhat similar, but have not tried any on yet. Jasmine T286 Mori Lee 2415 Hope this helps! Good Luck!

  • tmwagner....I too thought that Mori Lee 2415 was beautiful and looked very similar to the Martina gown, however when I tried it on yesterday I was MAJORLY disappointed.  It was insanely poofy and cumbersome, and the detail on it looked cheap to me.  I have a pic of me in it if you're curious, however you may still end up liking how the gown looks on you so I don't want to discourage you from trying it on.
  • pinkypoo: I would love to see a picture. Thanks! It's such a shame when they are a disapointment isn't it? The pictures are almost never a true representation, but I love when it looks better in person!

  • tmwagner....I posted it on my website..its under photo album and it's the 3rd dress.  Maybe the pic looks extra horrible, but it's still not flattering in person either.  The lace looks cheap, and there was just sooo much dress!  I'm 5'3 so the dress was super long and maybe that's why it looked so big, but yea, I hated it =/.  I will be removing that picture after you see it by the way hahahttp://tinyurl.com/m4q5ux
  • Pink- did you try on a dress that was way too large? That dress looks like it's sufficating you!! lol!! Sorry, it's too bad! I like it on the model...p.s. that watters dress is still my favorite on you ;)

  • Pinky i just went on to look at the pic but it wasn't there. It must have been pretty bad if you took it down so quick haha! Anyway, I love the Watters one on you. I would like to try that one on too, but haven't found it near me yet.
