DB $99 Sale

Anyone actually been to one of these sales?  Were there actually sale dresses?  Or is this a total gimmick... I know they aren't going to have like racks of $99 dresses, but were their dresses at least marked down for the sale?

from what I remember there were VERY FEW dresses that we actually $99 and they were the cheapest of the bridal gowns that they have in the store.  I wouldn't expect much from it.

My friend recently bought a really nice dress from them for $99.  the inventory varies depending on the store.

I agree that it varies on the store.  I checked three stores in my area and then kept revisiting them b/c their $99 dresses kept changing.  I learned that those gowns can be off the rack gowns or gowns that DB has left over from cancelled orders.  My cousin bought one and it was great. I almost bought one of these dresses and it was incredible, but it was a size 8 and I was a size 2 and I really wanted a dress my own size, although it would have been financially reasonable to buy it and have it fitted.  Depending on how much stamina you have for gown shopping, I think it can be a very worthy resource.
