Enzoani Dorothea

Hi all!So the gown I chose last week was the Enzoani Dorothea. I purchased it in a boutique by where I live in Brooklyn, New York. They said the dress won't come in for 4 months. And it takes up to 3 months for alterations. Is that normal??

Re: Enzoani Dorothea

  • The time for your dress to come in sounds plenty normal. They told me 6-9 months for my dress. They even put my wedding date as 2 months before the actual date so they would have some leverage in case the designer was lagging. I didn't get an estimate for the alterations since the shop I went to didn't have an in house seamstress, but I suppose it depends on the workload that the seamstress has.

  • ALterations shouldn't start until 1-2 months out max! If you lose weight in the last couple of months, the dress won't fit and you'll have to get it re-altered.
