I have the dress, but now what?!

I am having the hardest time picking out my shoes, necklace, earrings, hairstyle, etc. that will work best with my dress. I'm wearing a mermaid-style, stretch taffest gown with a strapless neckline. It has a long, fitted bodice with a bit of side ruching. The skirt has a ruffle rosette. My wedding inext fall and will be outside. Does anyone have any ideas??

• What dress is it?

• DId you see the model that wore the dress? What kind of accessories did she have, if so?
• I believe in the minimalist bride. Your wedding is about you. Your dress and other accessories will just enhance your beauty. If its a strapless dress i prefer just a pair elegant dangling earrings, not too big. no necklace. a bracelet, if chosen right can also add to the look. The dangling earrings will make your face glow. If you have ruffle rosettes, better if you have a cleaner hairstyle. Too much style everywhere can be overwhelming. A loose bun will be more my style, but you can also go for a more sleek bun if you like a modern feel. If you can post your dress, i can give you some links on what matches it. I love bridal styling. Im a fashion designer/ stylist so i can try to give some input :)
• I noticed that once I got the dress everything else has fallen into place. My dress is sort of classic looking so I want an updo but I want it loose. It's ivory so I'd like to wear pearls but since it's a halter definitely no necklace. I agree with the idea of looking at the models accessories, but focus on the dress itself for inspiration.

• Haha...I'm the opposite of janna....I'm doing earrings, necklace and bracelet!  I think it's up to you and what you normally wear.  What I did is found all of the jewelry and took pictures of my myself in the dress with each item alone and different combos and I liked the look of all of it together.  Without seeing a picture of you in your dres it's hard to make recommendations....but I will tell you I worked with this former knottie who has her own jewelry business and she custom made my jewelry.  I really love it.  You can see pics in my bio.  Here's her website: http://moniquesboutique.us/
• You guys are awesome!! The dress is white but it’s kind of iridescent so it picks up hints of ivory in certain lighting. In the picture, I can’t see the shoes; I was thinking something along the lines of a low heel peep toe, but I’m having difficulty deciding on fabric, color, etc. The colors I’m going for in my wedding are very neutral tones (chocolate brown, toffee, champagne, etc.) with subtle, but bold hints of deep plum. As far as jewelry…the model in the picture is wearing a Y-Style necklace, and I’m not very fond of those. I have my heart set on a pearl and gemstone necklace with a floral motif if that makes sense, but I don’t know if that will look well with my dress. I do want dangling earrings, but a bold necklace, I don’t know if that will be too much. I would also like some sort of sparkling, wide, blinging cuff as a bracelet. Is all of this too much? I’m trying to go for a very romantic, but classic style. As far as my hairstyle, I’m undecided as to wearing it half-up or all the way down (with both styles, I would want loose, sensual curls – maybe pulled to one side) and I want to wear a few white or plum orchids somewhere. I can’t even get started on a veil…I have no idea if I should even wear one. Any ideas or suggestions? xxo
