Are any of you being less traditional like me and adding a pop of color to your shoes??

  • I am planning on doing purple peep toes! :)
  • Yes.  I wore hot pink shoes, and my BM's wore black white and pink.  Not too many people saw my shoes except for in pictures or when I lifted my dress to walk, but I loved them.

  • Colored bridal shoes are extremely common these days.  Mine were gold and white spectators.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • Mine are a bright pink. I love them and wish I could wear them now without my mom having my head.

  • I absolutely want to do funky shoes but I am having such a hard time deciding what to do! I do know that for the outdoor pictures as it will be february in Alberta that we will be rocking the black winter boots because it wil just be too snowy and cold for walking around in heels I love the shoes on Fluevog but not sure if i can get away with these any opinions?? either in the red and black or the blue and grey.

i am having a fairly formal evening wedding with a winter wonderland theme and i am just not crazy about white shoes, i dont know what to do! any thought from anyone who has already bought their shoes - seriously this is giving me more stress than the dress!
  • I honestly don't know of a bride who has worn white or ivory shoes recently. It's much more common to have a pop of color under your gown. I got a ton of compliments on my gold shoes at my wedding.

  • Navy.  I'm w/you Summer I don't know anyone who has actually worn white shoes but my BM (who's wedding has been pushed back) was almost in shock when she found out mine weren't white.
  • I want a dark blue sparkly pair anyone have any suggestions on where to shop?
  • I have my heart set on wearing Leopard shoes, it's very me!
My only issue is that I need a heel 5.5 inches or greater AND a 1-2" tow platform as I am only 5'2" and my fiance is 6'7" - I have super high shoes like this (And thankfully and very skilled and comfortable walking in them) but I want special ones for the wedding. I don't want to stand on a stool to kiss my husband!! haha
  • im planning on doing hot pink, does anyone have any recommendations on where to find any that aren't too high of heels but still unique!??  I don't want to be tripping down the aisle... it would happen knowing me!
