how to pick bm dresses that work with mine

I think I've found my dress now, but I'm not sure that it matches the bridesmaid dress I found a month ago. I really like both dresses but I don't feel like they work together.

This is what I'm thinking is my dress:

This is what I like for my bridesmaids:

Are they too similar? Should I find something with straps and without a sash so we don't look so matchy? Help!!

  • I think they would look fine together....Yours is lace and the BM isn't.....complimentary but not matchy matchy

  • I think the dresses would look good together. There's the option of adding spaghetti straps to it as well.

I was so close to having my girls wear the shorter version of that dress but the way it fits wasn't going to compliment all of my girls. Still a very pretty dress and I find it so cute there's a matching FG dress!

  • I agree- Love your dress, and the BM dress compliments it, but is not too similar. :)

I think those dresses will look lovely together!  Just an FYI if you haven't seen the Alfred Angelo BM dresses in person yet - the sash is not removable, so that's something to consider if you're not 100% sure you want them to wear a sash.
