I just wanted to give a heads up to all that Bridal n Tux in Dayton, Ohio is closing (also a part of romanticgowns.com). I'm not sure if they've started calling up customers and informing them that they're items may not be made and refund may be neccessary.
I went down in May (from Cleveland) and found my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses there. All were so gorgeous. My 2 MOHs were able to buy their dresses on site (red dresses) while my 3 other bridesmaids (black dresses) had to have them ordered....
Well... the dresses were supposed to be shipped on Aug 1st, so on July 29th I called to find out the details of how they would be shipped, would I receive a tracking number, those kind of things. I was informed that my dress was ready to be picked up (I quickly informed them that I paid for shipping). I then asked about the remaining 3 bridesmaid dresses that were supposed to be shipping with my dress....At this point I was informed that the dresses were not put into their system until a week or 2 ago and they found out a couple days ago that they would be closing and the store liquidating. They were willing to work with me to find replacement dresses for my remaining 3 BMs but my BMs were concerned about not being able to try the dresses on. I decided to cancel the order on getting the dresses from them and had them ship my wedding gown. 2 of the BMs paid with a credit card and won't have any issues disputing the charges... the other BM though paid in cash and will not receive her refund until the store starts to liquidate (if she ever gets it back at all).
I also heard of another bride in my area who ordered her dress and BM dresses in May from there and was recently informed that none of them had been made/ordered (Her wedding is 9-10-11). I know I freaked out when I heard my news... I couldn't imagine hearing her news....
So I ended up going to David's Bridal and getting a different dress for the BMs... luckily it was all the black dresses that needed to be replaced so it'll still look somewhat uniformed/planned.

I will be picking my dress up tonight after work from a local FedEx where I instructed them to hold it.... I am really nervous about seeing it now... so many things keep going wrong in this planning. I'm really looking forward to the day after the wedding at this point... Hurry up September 25th!!! lol
