I need input on my dress/accessories!

Hi guys! So I went to David's Bridal today and tried on a dress I have been admiring online. Turns out I really like it, but I want to know you knotties opinions! My mom thinks it's like a prom dress but I like the style. What do you think???

If you love it, don't let anyone's opinions stop you from getting it! HOWEVER, it could easily be prom-y, so I suggest pairing it with very understated, classic pieces. I'm thinking simple satin pumps and pearls or simple jewelry. To me, really blingy, over the top accessories are what make it "prom".
