I just wanted to pass along my recent find. A new company named
Vintage Origin is now making the absolute perfect
bridesmaid dresses. I am using them for my own wedding in November 2011.
It's the classic infinity dress idea, but the best quality. I don't know about you guys, but I REFUSE to have my maids wearing stretch lycra... yuck!
This company makes their dresses out of a special fabric called "Slinky" which is wrinkle-free, stain-resistant, and hides bumps/lines like a champ! Really, it's incredible. I can't say enough about them.
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY MAIDS LOOKS AMAZING IN THIS DRESS! Plus, their "How-To-Style" section shows you a step-by-step picture tutorial on how to tie your dresses. They are front & back images, so you can't get lost.
And yes, there are BRA-FRIENDLY ways to style this one since there isn't that awkward "under the boob" seam... UGH.
I'm having my maids wear one of their fabric lines for a FALL WEDDING, a GORGEOUS dark green velvet number, perfect for my November 2011 Ozark nuptials... and my maids and I couldn't be more excited to wear them.
Also, they are length adjustable as you tie them, so NO ALTERATIONS! There are cocktail (short) and maxi (long) lengths available, but again, the final adjustments are just based on how you tie it.
The company was so wonderful to me and really took the time to get to know me and my requirements to make my wedding attire perfect! I am so impressed that I had to pass it on!
