bridal party dresses....help

My MOH, 2 BMs & I chose the dress style below  My wedding colours are apple green & yellow though. It was suggested (by a designer I had a consultation with) that the BMs have green as their main colour (with yellow below) & the MOH dress yellow (with green below). My girls have said they're comfortable with the suggestion but I'm not too sold on it. I was thinking they could all wear green with perhaps a yellow band in another fabric but my MOH could wear a different shade of  green. Any advice/sugestions?
Also what colours should my flowersgirls wear? (I may have three of them: 2 of them will be about 8 or 9 yrs old, the other will be 6 yrs old)

Are you using an accent color, like white or silver or gold?

What if MOH wore the apple green as the main color, but silver as the accent, where the BMs wear yellow as the accent?

And I would put the older 2 in a more mature dress, with the younger one in a more FG dress

Not sure if yellow is just the accent of your whole wedding- but you could do the BMs in yellow accented in green, and the MOH in green accented in yellow.

They will both be in Clover, same as my BMs - what I love about these dresses are they are wear again ready for both and soooo cute!

I would say if you like the idea of one color with a ribbon accent (green with yellow ribbon) then that is what you should do.  You could have the BMs dresses in green with a lighter green underskirt and a yellow ribbon, and the MOH in green with a different shade of underskirt or yellow or a totally different color!  It really is up to you and what you have envisioned for your wedding day.

If you're not sold on the idea suggested by your consultant, definitely go with what you ARE comfortable with.  I like your idea of having the MOH wear a different colored sash than the other attendants, but there are other options.

David's bridal has a Dress your Wedding option - you can play around with possible combinations to see what you like.  Even if your dress isn't from DB, the style you posted is similar to options that they have.

Maybe you could do a slightly darker hue of the same color for the MOH. That way they still match but they are distinguished from each other. 

Also I love yellow for FG's. It is so young and innocent and spring like. I think yellow dresses with green hair ribbons sounds adorable.

Thank you all ladies for your contributions. I think I really should go with my gut feeling about the dresses & not just go along with expert advice of a designer just because. I'll talk it over with my girls again and hear what they have to say. They all say that they're fine with whatever I pick but still I want my MOH & BMs to be comfortable, looking her best (and not secretly hating me for making her wear a dress she doesn't like lol)
In terms of the FGs I think yellow might be a great colour for them.
Sometimes I just feel almost clueless about what to do with this whole planning thing.  and I'm not always confident about my decisions/choices.
