The men.

Okay, so I know the groom is suppose to stand out from the groomsmen and along with the FOB. I have the groom is ALL black from head to toe. The groomsmen in black tuxes with a white vest and the best man in a black tux with a silver vest to match the MOH and obviously my colors are black white and silver. Now I'm trying to figure out what my dad and the ring bearer are suppose to wear. Do they match anyone else? I know in the end I can do it my own way but how is it suppose to be "typically" ?! Thanks for advice everyone!! :

Re: The men.

  • You father can wear whatever the heck he wants... If he ASKS you for a suggestion, I would just tell him to wear a black suit/tux and any color tie that would match your wedding colors (silver, black, white, etc). They don't have to match anyone else... Neither will be standing up there during the ceremony.
There is no "typical" way, honestly. My father wore is Army Dress Blues which didn't match. Our moms wore bronze and navy (our colors were royal blueand yellow) so they were all in the same range of colors, but picked themselves and didn't match perfectly.
  • Thanks ladies for the advice. This helps ALOT!! I was just curious to see what other brides had done/are doing during their wedding. Smile

If you are looking for something unique- try a fun bowtie or tie to separate the groom, from the groomsmen.... or even suspenders!
