I can't say yes to the dress

Hello Ladies,

I don't really post much on the boards but really need some opinions on the dress that i LOVE but over think it to much. I love the way is fits me and makes my waist look small, the only thing is some times i think the bottoms part looks like a white comforter. What do you ladies think?

The bottom does have a lot going on. But if you love it, get it! Do you have a pic of yourself in it?

I think that it is a pretty dress and I love Maggie Dresses.  If you are worried about having too much on the bottom, see if there are dresses that are similar to this one but without so much going on on the bottom.

Thanks for those links  opalsky007   I have tried on more dresses but keep coming back to this one. Here are some pics of me in the dress...These pics are from my phone so not that great:( also the dress is a size 10 and im a 4. Also my sister thinks its much of a dress for an outdoor wedding?

i think it's a beautiful dress. remember that the skirt is going to look better new like on the website. the one in the store is going to be flattened due to being crammed into a bag between other dresses.

I really like the dress, I think it is distinctive. Looking at the pictures, wearing it without the one shoulder strap makes the dres look more streamline (so the bottom might not be as distracting as you think). :-) If you compare all others to this dress, just go with it.

The dress is beautiful!  However, if you want a similar Maggie with a little less going on (and I might agree with your sister - depending on the venue and feel of your wedding it may be too much), these have the same sweetheart neckline and similar detailing on the front.

Honestly, the dress is really pretty. The top part , personally I LOVE, the bottom does have a little too much volume for personal taste. But overall the dress is beautiful. If that's what you're worried about, I would suggest looking around for similar dresses with the same style, and maybe a little less on the bottom.

Sorry - but I think if you think it looks like a comforter, a part of you is always going to feel that way.  And in two years when that is out of style (bc it is NOT a classic look), you are really going to wish you had picked something else.

I would say say NO to the dress.  Find something you feel less worried about.
