Dress help

I'm starting to look for my my wedding dress and I have no idea where to begin how do I know what boutiques to go to or if the dress will be a little cheaper some where else

Re: Dress help

  • What an exciting moment! Well I think you have to decide what type of dress you want, the silhouette, princess style, and adjust everything at your budget. When you go inside of the store the first thing they will ask will be about your budget, just have in mind what are you looking for. Good luck!
  • I looked for inspiration online and actually found the knot wedding dress app to be very helpful-- it lets you search styles and even tells you where you can find the dress.  In terms of price, you will most likely need to go to the shop or call to find out there prices or when sales will happen.  Try not to get too caught up with pictures--it may look pretty on the model but you need to go to a store and try on different styles so you know what really looks good on you--then narrowing it down gets easier once you really know what you are looking for.  Have Fun!

  • I do think that looking at Magazines is a great way to start. You will easily look at dresses and think "yeah i like that" or "oh god no" and you can go from there. Going to a boutiue and trying things on will be the best way to look at what you like. It is the best way to narrow down a look that works best for you, your body type, and your style. I was able get a dress that I was very happy with for around $600 but have had friends that spent $1000s. It just depends on what you like or want and what you are willing to spend to get it. Good luck!
  • Thanks everybody I made an appointment near my area and have guns of pictures out of magazines I know what I like but I guess I'll have to wait and see till it gets on me
