Dress help!

I've been going back and forth on this. I love, love, love my dress. The only thing I don't like is that the sash/bow looks like a 4H ribbon to me. Here's a pic:

So I've been scouring the web looking for a sash to replace it. I figure I'll have the seamstress take it off and add something else. But I can't find anything I love. I'm not 100% sure that it can be taken off anyways, but I imagine it wouldn't be a huge deal...

Do you think I should take this sash off and get a totally new one or just snip the tails off of the existing one? I took this pic from DB's site and (idk if its just bc its small/blurry or what), but it looks like the tails are off.

I just don't know and need some advice and opinions.

I would imagine that sash can be taken off by someone who knows what they are doing.  If not, they should be able to take the tails off the flower since they attach under it. 

Or are you wanting to lose the flower too?

I kind of like the flower, but I agree with you about the tails.  Not good.  I would snip the tails and leave the flower, like the picture in the last link.  If you don't like the flower you can probalby have that removed to and maybe replace it with a jeweled brooch or something.
