So I haven't had my dress altered yet. My heels I am planning on wearing are 3.25" - I was planning on buying some platform sandals, but am having a hard time finding a pair with that high of a platform that aren't essentially heels themselves. I want to change from heels into sandals for the reception. However, I am really liking a pair that has a 2.375" heel height, or a 0.875" difference.
How close do you think I have to be - would 0.875" sandal height make a huge difference in my dress dragging on the floor? Should I have the dress hemmed to my sandals and not worry about it being an inch shorter during the ceremony?
If any girls have had similar issues, I would appreciate some guidance - thanks!
