Best Dress to Make a Tall Girl Look Short?

I'm a bridesmaid in my very tall friend's wedding.  She's about 6' tall, which makes her a couple inches taller than her groom.  She's already going to wear flats, but is there a style of dress that would make her look shorter?

Well, pretty much the OPPOSITE of anything that would make a short girl look tall.  Strapless would de-emphasize her height a little bit. 

I think her best bet is to wear flat shoes and make sure her hair/veil/headpiece isn't too big.  But next to her groom, she will still be tall.   FWIW, I don't think anybody will notice or care.

CGMr - I agree that tall girls need different styles.  But none of those styles is going to make a tall girl LOOK SHORT, especially if she is standing right next to someone who is obviously shorter than she is.

Just like there was no magic wand that was going to make me look the same height as my groom (he's 8 inches taller than I am).
