"the Dress"...discontinued without notice!!!!!!

So I have a bit of trouble commiitting to a dress...i love trying them on and am afraid there is one better everytime i find one....

well there was one...kathy ireland by 2be that i could not find anything wrong with at all...but it didnt make me cry so i was afraid it wasnt the one....

I tried it on the 7th and it was discontinued the 15th without notice to the shop or apparently the distributor either ...

now that i might not be able to get it...i am so afraid its the one!!!!!!

this really stinks...the shop is getting back to me with my options.....

Try to find a used dress online i think there is a site called recycled bride - good luck

oncewed.com is a great resource for used dresses as well, if you can't get a new one.

Also, your wedding is nearly 14 months away, you could still keep looking for "the dress' and have plenty of time. 

Another thought, I didnt' cry when I found my dress.  A lot of women don't cry.  I knew it was the one when I didnt' want to take it off. I think SYTTD makes people think you have to cry for the dress to be "the one".

If you have pictures of the style you liked, think especially about what particular elements you liked and if you can't find it pre-owned or as a sample being cleared out or etc. it will help you to find something similar that you'll still love.

It's possible that you are only thinking it's the one because it's now something you can't pick so you're going back to it because you're thinking about it. You have plenty of time to look for a new dress and there will be fashion shows with more dresses coming out. You'll find something.

Don't worry about not crying at the one, I actually cried over the one I tried on right before it.  It was very "bride" looking, then I tried on mine and it just felt so good.  My dress made me feel like me, not me pretending to be a bride.

I am in luck, the sample in the store fit perfectly and would be the size they would have ordered for me anyway...its been in the store for like 5months she said and never left for a show or anything....not a mark on it inside or out. She pulled it off the floor for me yesterday and is holding it till tuesday so I can have some time to think about it.!!!!!!

I do love the dress but it doesnt feel any different than any other on i have put on and really liked......so i am just completely unsure still

thanks for all your great advise and comments....didnt think this was going to be an stressful as its all becoming...time to breath...or drink...maybe both lol
