What color tuxes for a brown and yellow September wedding??

I'm liking the idea of brown and yellow for a September wedding but the color of the tuxes is making me second guess this.  What color would be appropriate for them to wear, brown tuxes with yellow ties?  I would prefer black but I don't know how that would work which is why I thought brown...  Any suggestions?

Yes, I'm planning this for an evening wedding.  My cousin is having charcol tuxes to go with her guava color so that's what made me think of brown tuxes just because I worry about the possible bumble bee look

Um....have you thought about brown and yellow?   Those are....uh...bathroom colors.    Just saying.

I agree with CGMr about black tuxes.  If you want guys to wear grey or tan suits, then I would recommend suits instead of tuxes.

Black tuxes are never wrong.  Brown tuxes can easily become a trend you'll regret years later.  You can find another way to incorporate your other colors.  They (brown and yellow) should complement the wedding, not dominate it.

I definitely agree with the above posters: appropriate choices would be black tuxedo, tan/brown suit, or grey suit.

Be judicious in bringing your brown/yellow color scheme into the menswear. I'd suggest something subtle, but unifying, such as a pocket square or tasteful lapel flower. Particularly in a tuxedo, additions of color should always be surrounded by black (ie. pocket square).

Well, I'm on the other side of all this.  My colors are turquoise, ivory and chocolate brown so we're doing brown tuxes.  My FI is buying his because he found one that he likes better than the ones you can rent and he'll wear it again, but we're renting them for my 3 boys.  Brown is a neutral and the ones we're getting are dark enough that I don't think we'll regret them down the line.  It's not like I'm putting them in turquoise tuxes.  I know you can technically wear brown with black, but I've never liked the look so the idea of black tuxes with all the brown at the wedding didn't sit well with me.

I say go with a classic black tux. You really can't go wrong that way. Are you sure you want brown and yellow? As stated in PP, it makes people think of things that happen in the bathroom. I've seen burgandy and champagne and that looked very nice.
