Both the ceremony and reception will be at the greenhouse behind the Italian Farmhouse. There is some info in my bio if you aren't familiar. I have seen a few weddings there and it is really neat!

It looks gorgeous! Hopefully we will have amazing weather that day!

We will be having both our ceremony and reception at the Granite Rose.  The ceremony (weather permitting) will be in the Embassy garden and the reception with be in the Embassy room.

My FI and I both like to hike too! Too neat! We are going to name our tables after mountains we have hiked together.I've been working on making them myself...we'll see how that goes!

We are also doing names for our tables, most of them will be mountains, but we are also thinking of mixing in some other special place that we have been. The planning has *mostly* been rather enjoyable (thinking of the amount of money we will spend hasn't been enjoyable, but we know it will be worth it to us).

What do you have done so far? We have our venue, DJ, and my dress. I was surprised to have so much already, but it seems like things are booking up rather quickly!

I am assuming you must be living down in southern NH. Do you come up to the whites to hike often? I cannot wait to get out for my first hike of the year, I have been going seven days a week between work and class for a few months now and haven't had the chance to get any good trips in.

Tell me about it! I just ordered more checks yesterday because I've written so many deposits!

We have our venue, DJ, Photographer and I just ordered my dress a couple of weeks ago. Things do book fast! People keep saying that we have "so much time to plan" but I don't think they realize how quick things are booking.  We booked the Rose in January and they had already booked through July of 2011!

I live in the Nashua area, but my FI and I LOVE to hike in the Whites! We're actually going to be camping in the Whites over Memorial Day weekend with some friends and we were hoping to get a few hikes in. We're really looking forward to the first hike of the year too!  do you have any favorite trails/hikes?

We went up Moosilauke twice in 2008 and had a blast. The first time we went up the Beaver Brook trail from Kinsman Notch. That was a lot of fun, but we had to turn back about a mile from the summit because of the thunder and lightning. The hike back down in the rain was pretty time consuming. We are hoping to finish that trail in some good weather! About a month later we went up the Carriage Rd trail. The summit is really busy with people, but still worth every minute of it! I did Lafayette back in high school and that was pretty great too. I think we took the Old Bridle Path. We are hoping to go up Cannon during Memorial day weekend if we do not end up in Vermont.
One of our favorite hikes is Mt. Cardigan. We have been up all sides and go every year. A few years ago I took my daughter on her first hike up there on mother's day. That is also where FI proposed We both grew up around that mountain, just on opposite sides!

Also, you should check out the wedding month board for 08/11 - there is another great group of ladies over there as well! (Lucky to belong to the two best boards!).
