My future mother-in-law wants to wear a short dress to our wedding. I understand that our wedding is in August, and it will probably be hot. However, I think long dresses are more formal, and frankly, I think she would look better in a long dress. I have even emailed her several pictures of dresses that I think she should consider, and they are ALL long. However, she's not getting the hint.
Does it seem pushy if I flat-out tell her that I want her to wear a long dress??
