How to smooth out a birdcage veil

Hi,

I've bought a birdcage veil on Etsy.com, it's really beautifull, but it got a bit squished in the packaging. The font of it is now flattened instead of full of volume, and it clings to my eyelashes.

Any ideas on how to get its shape back?

I am going to get my birdcage veil steamed the week before the wedding. That's what my vendor instructed me to do.

you can even steam it your self, with a tea kettle or holding your iron near but not on the fabric it will perk right back up.
