We just sent out our STD a couple days ago but FI and were talking that red really isn't us... I just loved the red roses on our STD card. Our original colors were black,red and white but now that my dress is so vintage and lace,I'd like to soften them up with sliver,white and blush pink.
We met in DC and I have a cherry blossom tattoo on my shoulder blade so that shade of pink reminds me of us in the beginning:) I am going to do roses and daisies,hydrangeas all in white and pink.Spring flowers! With silver table clothes and accents.
I was talking to my FI and he said " I never said you could't have pink,I am just not wearing it,only as a flower" LOL ! I just think it is more "US" and we aren't red people really.
Will this look dumb if I soften the colors that are on the STD? I mean i sent them out maybe far enough people wont notice it.... 7 1/2 mo. ahead. With the dress changing and thinking about it,it will flow better with my venue and personality. Our personalities:)
