Bella Bridal Veils - Etsy.com

I almost feel like this is too good to be true.  I'm asking for something similar to one of their veils, and they can make it for $30!  That definitely beats having to pay $150 that my bridal shop quoted!  Is this too good to be true?

Re: Bella Bridal Veils - Etsy.com

  • I ordered one from this seller and I'm very pleased. She custom-made one according to what I wanted, and it arrived fairly quickly. I heard about her through a girl on my local board, who was also quite pleased with her veil.

I don't think it's a "too good to be true" offer, really, because tulle fabric is incredibly inexpensive. Bridal shop veils are a ripoff - they just overcharge you for something that's usually quite easy to make (unless it's got elaborate details or expensive lace trim/beading/etc. - in which case, the materials and the labor justify a higher price). The bridal salon wanted to charge me $85 for a plain fingertip veil, and I paid less than $40 for a floor-length plain veil from Bella Bridal Veils.  It was the EXACT same thing, except mine was longer.

  • The veil I fell in love with was 900+, and the woman on etsy made it for 100+ materials. I picked an expensive lace so it was a little more then that.... but def. a huge amount difference.

Look at the comments left for the designer. Are they all positive? Check to see if they have made veils before..
  • Also, I fell in love with a hair comb that was 450, and the etsy maker made it for 100.... and it looks just as amazing. PIB of both veil and comb.
