Incorporating great-grandmothers brooch

I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate my great-grandmother's brooch into my wedding accessories. It is sparkly and about 1 inch by 1.5 inches. My dress is quite a simple A-line with just a little bit of beading across the front. I will wear a veil and a simple frech twist type of hairstyle.
I think the possibilities are:
1. at the small of my back where the dress zips up
2. attach to a comb and put in my hair - although I was hoping to wear flowers in my hair since it is an outdoor wedding. Could I combine flowers and a brooch? attach it to a band?

Would love to hear your ideas!

I think it would make a beautiful hair comb. I did a similar thing with one of my mom's vintage shoe clips. Alternatively, you could pin it to a ribbon or headband, though that might not work well with the hairstyle you have in mind. 

Your wedding is probably too warm to do this, but I wore my grandmother's broach as a closure on my faux fur wrap.

You could also consider pinning it to your bouquet. That way it's with you, but not on you, KWIM?

You could totally put it in your hair AND put a flower or two in your hair...it will make your simple french twist completly your own!

depending on what type of bustle you're having, you could incorporate the brooch.  i've seen people with an american bustle put a brooch at the top, where the dress comes to a point and gets pinned to the dress.

Thanks so much for your ideas! I really like the idea of putting it on the flower wrap - I think I'll do that if it doesn't seem like it would work in my hair along with a couple of flowers.
The bracelet idea got me excited at first - because that would be beautiful! - but on second thought, I think it would catch on my dress...

I am putting mine on my bow of a dress.  that way it will be with me throughout the entire ceremony and reception!
