Shoe clips?

I pulled out my wedding shoes yesterday, and one of them has a scratch/tear in the front. I had to look long and hard to find these at a discount store. My wedding is next Saturday, and I don't really have funds to buy another pair.

They're peeptoe flats, so I thought about covering it up. I tried ribbon to make a bow, but couldn't make it flat enough that the hem of my dress didn't catch on it, which was uber annoying. I haven't seen actual shoe clips in a store, just online. Where would I find them in an actual store? Any other ideas? My shoes do show quite a bit, as my dress is a solid two inches off the ground and cannot be adjusted.

My friend wrote that blog post, and I think they're pretty cute.

i would suggest either etsy, or find some larger clip on earrings in a store.

truthfully, some shoe polish, nail polish or other 'marker' type cover-up might work just fine. nobody looks that close at your shoes!  at most there would be 1-2 'closeups' of your shoes while you're getting ready, and you can always tell your photographer to edit out the scratch =)
  • Honestly, I don't think anyone will notice but you.  My french manicure was totally smeared on the day of my wedding so I had to retouch it with white out which looked horrible.  You could buy two little hair clips at Claire's and clip them on?  I could make you shoe clips, but it would take at least a week.  Good luck!  Remember to just breathe and enjoy YOUR day no matter what!

    Best Wishes!
