Need help - DB dress brides

Hi ladies!  I'm hoping someone with a David's Bridal white satin wedding dress can help me out.  I talked to David's about buying fabric to match my dress, and David's won't sell me the fabric.  I need to add plain thick straps to my dress.  Nothing David's offers will work (I already asked that question, too).  So, if any of you are hemming or otherwise altering a white satin David's Bridal dress, would you mind sending/selling me the fabric that you cut off?  Anyone altering the dress length shorter should have enough fabric.  I'd need two strips of about 5" wide by 40" long.
