So fiance and I have decided to wear matching tennis shoes on our wedding day. Our wedding is very casual and informal. (gettng married on a cruise ship). Fiance is wearing Navy blue sport coat, tan slacks and navy blue/apple green bow tie). We thought it would be fun to wear matching shoes as they fit with our personalities and colors (navy blue/ apple green). However mom and friends are freaking out as they think I should wear heels. I don't see the huge deal. You won't even see them under my dress. But now I am starting to have second thoughts about this. What are your thoughts? Is it ok to wear tennis shoes under wedding dress?
