MOB dress

My mom found a dress she really likes but it is a champagne color and Im worried that it may be too light of a color for her to wear. My dress is white. Below is a picture of the dress she likes. I would like to know what everyone thinks of the color. Also, my mom said the dress was $900 where she found it. Has anyone seen this dress (I think the brand is Jovani) or a similar dress for less than $900?

I don't think I would like it very much if my mother's dress was nearly white, but I also think it's one of those things you should probably just choose to be okay with. The fact of the matter is, everyone's going to know she's not the bride. They're going to know it's you. So, I think if you choose not to let it bother you, it won't. But if it does, and you can't make it stop, and you're sure you won't upset your mom, you might suggest the same style in another color.

It is light colored, but honestly I would just let it go.  If she likes it and is comfortable and confident in it I would be happy for her.

Can you find a dress that is similar but in a different color? Maybe even a little bit darker shade? I don't think I would be comfortable with mob or mog wearing a dress that light (especially since it looks very similar to some girls' wedding dresses on here).

Ditto PP, I would be uncomfortable if my mother wore white. Try to veer her into a different color.
