Las Vegas Wedding!

So I just got engaged and we are going to Vegas in October to get married with only my best friend and her husband there. (This is just the way we wanna do things!) I thought I had the dress I wanted in mind but as I look at wedding dresses, I find those beautiful to die for dresses breathtaking.  I initially wanted to go with a tea length vintage dress I found but I didnt know if anyone had an other idea as far as the dress goes.....help!

Well, with Vegas you can do pretty much anything and everything! Nothing is too wild for Vegas! I would say go with whatever makes YOU feel good. When I think of Vegas I think three options for a dress I might try to find for myself. Congrats, dear, I 'm about to get married in October, too. but we will just hold our ceremony in New Jersey which is my hometown. I want to do the same thing as you do, go for honeymoon with only a couple friends,  that's would be fantastic. I had a tea length vintage looking dress.  I loved it!  I also got married in Vegas.  I wanted a shorter dress because I didn't want it to get gross from all the walking we were going to do.  But really you can wear whatever makes you happy!

My wedding is in Vegas as well. If  you haven't found a venue, I highly suggest Mandalay Bay - Valley of the falls for the ceremony - It is gorgeous.

I got married in Vegas ten years ago. I did the huge dress, tiara, veil and even fake glass slippers. The whole nine-yards, princess, fairy tale dream. I wanted a huge train, so I had one and bustled it. It got filthy walking down the strip, but everyone loved it. And we had only 3 guests, so it wasn't a big wedding. We're doing a vow renewal just the two of us in December, and I'm wearing a tea-length dress for that. It's all about what you feel good in- if I had 26-year old body like I did back then, I would wear a sexy little number. You can do whatever you want- it's your day!!! Have no regrets! And have a GREAT time!

I havent checked out that venue......but weve decided on Chapel in the Clouds at the Stratosphere......on the Level 112 observation deck at night.....Im pretty excited about it!!

Thanks for all the feedback!!  Ive decided to go with tea length because I dont want to walk around on the strip and my dress get ruined!!!  Going next week to try it on and get it ordered........just hope if they have to order it, it gets back in plenty of time for alterations and such! But here is the dress Ive decided on......gonna pair it with blue heels and a birdcage veil
