Help!! Pleeezz :) with dress..

I have a dress dilemma..I live in NM but found my dress in OK.. Its in now, but will need to be altered. It will cost me 200 in gas to drive to OK, but I trust the girl there with my dress more than out here. She said she can build a bra into it too. I could only find one guy here in NM with good enough reviews for me to trust him to alter it. He charges 40 dollars per hour and cannot build a bra into my dress. Is a bra important in your dress? I am kinda small, so the enhancement would be nice... The guy here in NM also cannot give me an estimate until he sees me in the dress, but from pictures he says it will need A LOT of  work. I am at a loss at what to do ladies.. Please help me decide if I should drive to OK to pick up and alter my dress, or should I just have them ship it here for 55 dollars and trust this guy?

I'd personaly drive to OK and pick up the dress and have the girl who seems knowlegable and able to alter your dress to your liking. The other guy may end up costing you more in the end and lots of aggravation..  Good luck!

Is it possible to have the bra built in and some of the basic alterations done without you being there and then maybe have the guy in NM do the final fitting? My dress is not in yet so this is not something I have tried.

I'm curious about the bra in the dress as well. I could almost get away with a strapless bra if I found one that went down far enough, but I am also small up top and wouldn't mind an extra boost that you don't always get with a regular strapless bra. Does anyone know how much building a bra into a dress would cost? I know it differs but an idea would help me out.

In Ok and NM it runs only about 20-25 dollars... And that is a great idea to see if they can just put the bra in and then send it to NM
