Hi everyone, I wanted some opinions on this. I am going with a romantic deep red color for my bridesmaid dresses and have had a difficult time finding dresses in that color (surprisingly.) I have found a dress online that I like but it is a tulip shaped dress (mid-length) with a sixties-style round neck. It is silk and also has a rosette on the front. I love it even though it's a little non-traditional for a bridesmaid dress. The problem is: my wedding dress is strapless, and a ballgown with a cathedral train. I am worried that the dresses won't match my dress in style. Do you think it matters if the shape of the bridesmaid dress differs from that of the wedding dress? Is it important to match them subtly in style (i.e. same neckline and same skirt shape?) Thanks for your input!
