Re: nm

  • I think it looks beautiful :) Is it the same lace as on your dress?

Is there a way that you can have it fitted so the bottom comes in closer to the dress? It looks as though its hanging out at bit on the second picture.

Just because your church/venue has more regulations or you're more conservative doesn't mean your matronly. Look at the shape of that dress! Vavoom! :)

<div>Thank you! And yes, it is the same lace as my dress. As for making it fit closer, that was what I wanted and what we originally planned, but for some reason or another, my seamstress said it would't work. I think that's what's bothering me. </div>

Would it be possible for your seamstress (or another seamstress) to figure out a way to attach the bottom of the jacket to your dress?  Not permanently but just enough so that it doesn't stick out?

I personally think it looks great with your dress.  If you aren't happy with the seamstress who made the jacket I would go to someone else to see if they can fit the bottom of the dress a bit closer to your body they way you want.

  • Can you get some white snap-uttons for the very back? I know the sides need some room so you can move your arms around, but attching it in some way may help reduce the sticky-outty ness of the sides.

  • For the record I don't think it looks matronly at all.  I think it looks beautiful. :)
  • It DOES NOT look matronly.  You have to have your arms covered and you've chosen a lovely and age appropriate option.  BTW I love the dress!!!  Wink
