What to wear/bring when going to try dresses for first time?

I'm going to look at dresses for the first time this weekend and what should I wear as far as underwear, bra, spanx?? Advice would be greatly appreciate!

Clean and comfortable underwear, well-fitting strapless bra, any shapwear that you want to wear on your wedding day, and shoes with a heel height you are comfortable with. The shoes should also be of a height that you are likely to wear on your wedding day.

1) Shave your legs

2) Wear underwear you don't mind being seen in by a sales consultant

3) Bring a strapless bra

4) Bring any shapewear you are considering wearing

5) Shoes!

6) Wear makeup and consider making your hair look nice (that doesn't mean do an up do or something...but I simply curled my normally straight hair just so I could see myself a little bit more as a bride!)

7) HAVE FUN!

Ideally you should wear the heels and undergarments you plan to wear on your wedding day, but if you don't have them yet try to wear something similar.
