Off White Gown/What color shirt for groom?

We are getting married on the beach, so it will be a casual shirt. Do you think a white shirt for him would be ok, or should we match? SO confused! Guys are wearing linen khaki pants also.

    I would do a white shirt.  Ivory or off-white shirt*s can look dirty, or like the color is just off.  A
    white shirt will look great with khaki!
    PS - TK won't let me write "shirt*s".  This is getting ridic.
