Possible Stupid ??

I have a question about tuxes. What color vests do the fathers wear? We are having the GM wear red vests and of course FI will wear a white one. But I have no clue about the fathers, I know stupid question right. TIA

Black.  I'm not a big fan of colored vests/ties with tuxes.  Black and white/ivory are classics for a reason.  Anything else just reminds me of going to the prom.

My uncle, who walked me down the aisle, wore a color called bamboo. It was a dark ivory.

Usually the fathers in black vests and ties.

The fathers can choose whatever vest color they want.  They also do not have to wear tuxes if they do not want to.  Since they are not in the WP they can decide on their own attire.

Our fathers chose to wear the same thing the groomsmen are wearing.

Pretty much they can wear whatever they want.  There's no "right" answer.

My gfather is wearing a black tux with a black bowtie and vest.  Same style as the groom, groomsmen but different color vest/bowtie

Silver grey, black, charcoal.  It's really their choice as they are not part of the bridal party

My dad wore black.  He asked what I preferred.  FIL wore a suit without a vest and looked fine.
