First off, let me start by saying we have 6 people on each side
of the aisle.
For the "boys" we have four men who are all on the athletic/trim
side of the spectrum and two women who would prefer to wear
suits, both of whom are quite overweight. (We're talking 58"
waist, 63a" hips for the largest).
We don't want tuxedos because that's more formal that we
were going for, we're definitely looking for suits - ideally a nice
I can find big & tall suits that are large enough for the women,
but those suits don't come in the regular sizes. I can find
some regular sized suits that also come in big & tall sizes at
JC Penney and Mens Wearhouse, but they don't come large
enough for the largest of the women.
So I was hoping someone could help:
1) Would it be horrible and insulting to the large women for
them to be wearing suits that are definitely different than the
regular-sized men? I'd prefer they all wear the same, but it
would be nice to know if that's an OK thing to do...
2) Any ideas for places to look for suits that come in such a
broad range?
