My one month post...

Yeah, yeah. Less than a month till the wedding.

BUT! TODAY is one month from the big chop! I measured today, and I have over fourteen (yes, 14!!!) inches of hair to donate to Locks of Love if I cut it shoulder length. I'm thinking short bob for 15! I can't wait to get rid of all this hair and send it to be made into a wig for someone who needs it.

    Holy cow!  Mine is not nearly that long (although it is very curly and takes a very long time to grow).  Are you really chopping it the day after?  Where are you going?  I might come meet you....Tongue out

    cg-pm52111 - I'm getting it cut in Tilton with my hairdresser. I still drive over an hour to get my hair done, but I love her. Did you see the comments on my FB status? I guess my photographer is interested in coming too. I hope she can do it on Sunday, but if she really is interested, I may make it on Monday if that works better. Would be cool if it inspired others to do the same!

    I am growing my hair out as well and definitely plan on donating it when I get it cut after the wedding. I've donated once before -- on accident. I kept forgetting to get my hair cut for months and months and months. The hairdresser told me "well, since you want it cut to shoulder length, if you do an extra inch, it will be long enough to donate." So I did :) It feels so nice to help others with such a simple act.
