XP: Reception - Veil in or out?

Hi Ladies,

With just over 3 months to go, I've been thinking a lot about my w-day hairstyle.  My veil is a single layer, finger-tip length, with lace around the edge that matches my dress exactly.  It was about $100 so I feel weird about only wearing it for a 20 minute ceremony and a few pictures...I've heard that it is "traditional" to keep it on until the first dance but I don't think we are going to do our first dance until after dinner, toasts, and cake...

Would it be weird to just keep my veil on the whole reception?  What have y'all done/seen?

You can do whatever makes you happy/comfortable. If you want to leave it on by all means do it. If you want to take it off for dancing/reception that works too.

im leaging mine on until after our first dance.  after that for all the other dances (like with daddy and my brother, it will be gone
