My bridesmaids ordered the Amsale French Blue style G425C back in October during an Amsale BM trunksale in a small NJ boutique. When my maid of honor tried the dress at the store, the color looked very close to a navy blue. The navy blue looked like a deep purple color to me that I chose to go with the French Blue. I recently noticed that Bloomingdales and Nordstorms now carry the dress in French Blue which is not similiar to the color that I ordered in October. The swatch that the store gave me also looks close to a Navy blue color but the dresses in the department store look like a dull purple/blue gray color. I understand that that the colors on our computers may vary and that the color of the dress may not be exactly the same color as the sample dress but the colors from the department stores look very different. Did anyone happen to order an Amsale French Blue bridesmaid dress or can assure me that the colors sold at Bloomies and Nordstorm are not the correct French Blue color? I'm also seeing French Blue colors online look like a Tiffany blue which is way off from the color of my swatch. Help!
