Thoughts on dress for beach wedding

Hi knotties,
I wanted your thoughts on the following dresses for a destination wedding (Hawaii in June)... Do you think any of them would be too warm to wear for 5/6 hours? Any insight, thoughts, and recommendations are appreciated!

I also am having a beach wedding - and I love your dress choices!  When I went dress shopping, the consultant let me try on the dresses I wanted, but some of them turned out to be super heavy!  That is definitely something to take into consideration!  Have you tried them on? I initially wanted a lace dress, but went with something completely different after trying them on!

Thanks! I tried on the Oleg Cassini and I loved it! I haven't tried on the Allure dress yet but plan to in the next few weeks...  I'm in love with lace What type of fabric/dress did you end up getting? I'm just overwhelmed with all the choices for a beach wedding!!!

Will you be on the beach the entire time? If so, I would personally go with something more flowly. I have an all lace gown and it is definitely hot.

The dress you referred to is gorgeous. However, for beach wedding, I suggest you choose chiffon wedding dresses. Wearing a flowing wedding dress on the beach adds a special flavour. If you prefer lace wedding dress, I recommend this style to you.

Yeah, I can not agree more! For beach wedding, chiffon wedding gown is definitely perfect!

Whoops, I forgot to add that the wedding is actually on a private venue that faces the beach, so no sand Just wondering if the lace will be too warm in June... I've tried on chiffon dresses and while they were comfortable, I'm not sure if it's the look I wanted... going to keep looking. Thank you knotties for your input!

Hi there, the designer of the left chiffon wedding dress is Maggie Sottero, while the lace wedding dress comes from Alfred Angelo. I checked their websites again just now and didn't find them, or I would have given you the links directly. Generally speaking, there are 3 layers about one dress. The outer layer is lace, the second layer is satin, and the inner layer is a kind of smooth fabric to make you feel comfortable when wearing. So I think the lace wedding dress would be quite heavy, probably too warm to wear. For the chiffon wedding dress, it is a bit lighter than that one !
